Aston Martin gave a clearer indication of the direction the Lagonda brand will take with a concept car in Geneva.

Breitling Bentley Motors Speed 2009 Edition

April 6, 2009

breitlingmotorspeed2.jpg The Bentley Motors Speed chronograph, the new spearhead of the Breitling for Bentley collection, exudes originality and exclusiveness from every angle in a sporty and elegant design inspired by Bentley cars. It also features matchless engineering in the 25B calibre, a worthy heir of a 1926 Breitling patent and distinguished by a unique mechanism called the 30-second chronograph. The centre hand goes around the dial every 30 seconds – rather than the usual 60 – to allow for a very accurate reading to 1/8 of a second.

Feadship Kathleen Anne SL39 Yacht

April 6, 2009

boatster.jpg Unveiled at Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands in late October, the Kathleen Anne marks Feadship’s second iteration in its line of highly customizable SL39 modular concept superyachts.

Adopting a notably more modern and sleek exterior in comparison to the first SL39 (at the behest of its owner), the Kathleen Anne still continues its lineage’s function as a full displacement world cruiser with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

It is designed by Guido de Groot and Bannenberg Design, and features a top speed of 14 knots, a central high-end AV system, a fully equipped stateroom for its owners, four double staterooms for guests, and three double cabins for the crew.

The individuality of the Kathleen Anne in comparison to its predecessor proves the SL39 lineup’s flair not only for solid and luxurious cruisers, but also for complete aesthetic and interior customizability – a trait that Feadship can demonstrate once more when the third variation is introduced by end 2009.
